| I rarely saw Walter during this period, but he took this photo of me outside his sister Gwen's cottage near Waltham Abbey in 1962. Unfortunately I have no photograph of myself with the long bushy beard I had the previous year, to the horror of my mother and grandmother. Only a centimetre of it remains here! |
