ONLINE MUSEUM: Exercise books, 1950s
These images of exercise books from th 1950s were sent in by Ian Sadler. The biology book (yellow) had alternate lined and blank pages (for drawing disected
things!). The physics book has come out bluish here but Ian says it was green. It was just odinary lined paper. Geography was grey. It was like the biology book but with a set of graph pages added in the centre. For more on colours of exercise books, see reply 65 in thread 32. Ian thinks he has a physics practical book somewhere, but hasn't come across it yet. He thinks it's probably pink with alternate
lined and graph pages - and almost A4 sized.
