ONLINE MUSEUM: The 1st XV, 1968-69
Chris Perkins sent this picture of the 1968-69 team. He, Nick Dean and Paul Buckland between them have named them all, although there is some uncertainty about the 2nd from left in the back row. Also, Michael Hill has since said that 4th from left in the middle row is Graham Smith, not Andrew Witchalls as originally thought (see Michael's thread 167).
BACK ROW: The late Adrian Milne, Dave Felashant or John Felstead, Robert Senior, Richard Duncombe, Robert Thompson;
MIDDLE ROW: Dave Perkins, Pete Walsh, David Huber, Graham Smith;
FRONT ROW: Peter Hawkins, DAM Wilson (brother of Jon), Steve Lisney (captain), Barry Young, Michael Bleese.
The more observant among you will have spotted that this XV is actually XIV. The identity of the absentee was unknown for a few years but he has recently owned up: see reply 167/1.
