Stapylton House c.1960
According to the late John Hamilton, who provided this picture, it is of Stapleton House in 1960 or 61. John is fourth from left in the standing row. Second is Dowding, who apparently went to Vancouver shortly after leaving. Sixth is Michael (Daisy) Day, with whom John, in the company of Peter Lockerman (Leicester House), went on a motoring and camping holiday through Europe in 1967.
Mike Cottrell adds the sad information that both John Rainbird (standing 5th from right) and Brian Steadman (next 4th from right) were destined to pass away in the 1960s. John died in 1965 and Brian in 1968. He wonders if this is the only photo of them taken together.

Front Row, seated, 9th from right: Roger Edrupt.
Alan Joslin has identified his brother Martin, who passed away in 1962, as being 5th from the left in the centre row.
