WIDER WORLD: de Havilland DH.82 'Tiger Moth'
Roger Nolan (lucky man) and son after the latter had taken his dad for a flight over Kent in 2006 in the oldest Tiger Moth still flying. It was built in 1933.
The Tiger Moth remained in service with the RAF as a trainer until 1952, when it was replaced by the de Havilland Canada DH‑C.1 'Chipmunk'.
