I think if push came to shove it would be hard to find any old boy of any school willing to admit they enjoyed their time at school.  It is only with the passing of time that we start to look at our school days with some nostalgia (which isn't what it used to be) and no doubt through rose tinted spectacles.

I cannot say I was aware of racism in my day but then we weren't aware of it as we are today.  Name calling was always present as it is today but I think when you can look back over several decades then perhaps being at Queen Elizabeth's wasn't that bad after all.
