[reply 20]. Has there been respect or neglect? Of course my home is very near to the military barracks etc of Tidworth and Bulford and the British Legion, Army charities and especially Help for Heroes are very prominent. On staying at Youlgreave (or Youlgrave - see
W8/10), I was struck there by the local British Legion including their Women's group current activities. A great garden party for funds was held. My father many years ago was the recipient of appreciation and invitations to activities by a Not Forgotten Society of Kodak Ltd of Hemel Hempstead. He even went to a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. I should like to have gone but wasn't invited, though I did go with him to other events. As regards war memorial dates
