I did go to the art exhibition of Hew's paintings on Monday 10th April and took some photos of some that I liked, as the custodian there said I could. I noticed the names of 2 other ex QE men in the visitor's book, who went earlier in the day. I arrived after 5 p.m so it was good the place was open until 7 p.m. I noticed the paintings were for sale and I hope some good ones were not not included, as wanting to be kept and not sold.

I have sent some copies of some of the photos I took at Wells-next-the-sea of Hew Purchas's paintings on display. It was agreed by the custodian that I could photograph them and reproduce them on this site. I did donate some money to the charity fund, for which the exhibition was raising some money. Some I like a lot, others not so much but others may like those also
